We offer 3 simple solutions when ordering your checks. You can choose between total
control, increased efficiency or totally free checks ... it’s up to you!
Option 1 – Individual/PreSelect Orders
Individual Orders allow each person to order their own checks and
share their results with you – giving you the peace of mind you require at no cost
to your organisation.
You can decide which checks you require and generate a ‘Check Code’ through CVCheck's
system. Your Check Code can be shared via email, job ad or in an HTML link on your
web site.
The individual enters the Check Code into our web site and our system automatically
selects the checks you selected for that Check Code. They enter their personal information
and pay for the checks, giving you temporary access to the results online.
Commonly used by:
- Employers who consider it the individual’s responsibility to provide verified, accurate
information in their CVs — not the employer's role to spend time and money chasing
around after individuals to see if the information they have supplied is true.
- Employers who receive large numbers of applications for each position and want to
cut their costs and shorten their recruitment timeline by only accepting verified
CVs — no more time wasters, criminals or people with poor work histories lying in
their CVs to get interviews.
- Employers who realise that only motivated, honest, suitably experienced and qualified
individuals will tend to apply if they have to pay for their CV to be verified first
(some organisations have offered to pay for the successful applicants' checks – but
this is purely a business decision).
Option 2 - Direct Orders
A Direct Order gives you total control over the checking process.
You select the checks that you require and retain complete control over the personal
and career information that is entered for each of your chosen checks.
The order is paid for by you and you have sole access to the check results.
Commonly used by:
- Employers with urgent orders, where speed is the critical factor.
- Contractors/subcontractors using a Check Code provided by an organisation/principle
contractor to conduct checks on their staff for contract purposes or to gain access
to job sites.
- Employers conducting checks on their current employees.
Option 3 – PrePaid Orders
A PrePaid Order gives you the option to offload some of the work
required to order your checks.
You decide which checks you require but you leave it to the individual to enter
their personal information for each of your chosen checks.
If you have a group of people all requiring the same set of checks you can easily
submit a single order for the entire group.
The order is paid for by you but placed by the individuals using a PrePaid Check
Code generated by CVCheck's system. Each person that has checks conducted on them
owns their check results - you have permanent access to these results as well.
Commonly used by:
- Employers with high recruitment volumes or time pressures in their day who want
to offload some of the work to the individuals to do.
- Employers who require the same checks on a number of individuals and are under time
pressures - they can submit a single order for the entire group.

- This can be useful in circumstances or legal jurisdictions where privacy constraints
prevent checks being ordered on another person.
- Where consent forms may be processed by the organisation this may be done by any
CVCheck Authorised Witness (that is, staff members who have membership accounts
on the CVCheck web site). Consent forms processed by the individual must be witnessed
by an approved Authorised Witness type.
